PP Ken Parcell gave an enthusiastic and informative talk about Rotary's own charity - The Rotary Foundation (TRF). Started in 1917 with US$28, has delivered over US$4billion in grants since
TRF consistently wins awards on it's governance, very low overheads and its global reach.
TRF enables good to be done in the world, through Rotary Clubs working with each other, nationally and internationally.
The National Railway Museum in Port Adelaide celebrated Bill's birthday at Semaphore on Sunday 2 April
.
The train ran between Semaphore and Fort Glanville stations with a time a bit quicker than anticipated - 10 min (~3 km), with a 5 min turnaround, and a 10 min return journey..
RCWL BBQ made a profit but not much.
The Fun Run was disappointing with no-one turning up. That didn't stop Ros and her team being all organised though.
