Alison has arrived safely in Cambodia and is thoroughly enjoying her time with the tour group. She joined in the vibrant Khmer New Year celebrations in Phnom Penh, complete with water pistols of all sizes and plenty of talcum powder, which she described as great fun.
The group have also caught up with Cosi Costello during their visit. Highlights of the trip so far include watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat, experiencing a traditional monk blessing ceremony and participating in a meaningful act of generosity. The group contributed to the purchase of a motorbike for a local woman who has just moved into a new home. This is an important step that will help her get to the market and take her children to school.
