Club Assembly Wrap-up

Thanks to all who participated in the Club Assembly.
 
Thanks to President Elect Scott for chairing the meeting - apologies to those who thought the time limit was too short, but we needed to keep discussions on track.
 
 
Projects
  • Shade cover for MidCourse Reserve (Barry)
    Ros to raise with City of Charles Sturt
    Brian McD to check with Stu Ghent (CoCS Counsellor)
    this could be a 50 yr project (March 2026)?
    Jean to chase down reality of getting more pavers.
     
  • Supporting Women and Children in Domestic Violence situations (Rosie)
    Members to express interest to be on Committee.
    Committee to conduct research on finer details and report back to Club
     
  • Existing Club Projects (Ros, Andrew and others)
    Andrew to send out survey to Club members
    Committees to look at potential new projects
     
  • Sharing fundraising events with other Clubs (Gary)
    Minimise number (initially RC Largs & CHATS?)

    Induction kit to include query on what items are required
    Folder has a page to catch this up for new members
    RCWL Shirt/apron/hat have traditionally been a personal cost unless the RCWL receives a grant.
    Badges are already included in the induction kit for new members
    Put into Guidelines – Scott & Ros
    No conclusion on who pays.
     
  • Club Constitution/By-Law/Guideline review (Ros)
    Ros/Scott reviewing and will provide feedback to Club and opportunity for review/approval

    ClubRunner would still need to be updated as things change, and Members educated on how to access.
