Dear RCWL members, of our 2 months in Europe we only have 17 days left.
Initially starting in England, we then went to spend 25 days with daughter Jenna in Amsterdam (NL).
Found the 51 stairs up & down to her apartment rather onerous. My knees ache.
There were days when we were drowned rats.
The best method of Transport was using TukTuks which would pick us up from Jenna’s front door. They would take 5min to get to a destination whereas an Uber would take 20min due to one way streets.
Needed to buy a pair of gloves as has been quite cold in the wind.
Visited Tulip Garden, 7 million bulbs.
Attention Westy - Amsterdam how to collect Hardware to build shelves for daughter.
We are currently in the Cotswolds, England near Cheltenham, with my cousin who comes to Australia.
Today Steve rode my cousin’s bike (4 gears) up the hill to a church – he has lots of photos.
It was an adventure.
Stratford-on-Avon bridge built in 1400’s has 14 arches. Still in use today
There are lots of photos & adventures.
I could stay another 2 months.
However, finances would not allow it.
