INTERNATIONAL TOAST:
Rotary Club of German town in D6800, Memphis, Tennessee. The club was chartered in 1976, with 27 members who meet on Wednesdays at 11.45pm in TPC Southwind Country Club. President: John Miller
ROTARY CLUB BUSINESS
SECRETARY: (Lyn)
- Changeover Dinner 27 June - $55 per member/partner, $60 per guest. Venue is now at The Bartley on the mezzanine floor.
- AVEO tours at 2 venues with morning tea at one and afternoon tea at the other. Lyn to come back with dates.
TREASURER: (Len)
- 30% have paid for changeover dinner
- Meals on Wheels new lady named Katrina is now running the show
- Alison and Ros presented cheque of $750 to Chats for their assistance at the RSL BBQ. Was suggested we organise a large copy of the cheque to present (especially for photos) and EFT payment.

- Congratulations to Neil for being the first one to send in his annual report. Thank you for the quality and consistency of the speakers.
INTERNATIONAL REPORT: (Ken - apology)
- Received an email from Ken regarding his trip.
- 17 June – DIK stripping of commodes from 9.00 – 12.00. Meet for lunch at Slug & Lettuce at 12.30, half price meal.
COMMUNITY REPORT: (Ros)
- 19 May at 8:00am - Waved farewell the One and All leaving, Dock 2, Port Adelaide on voyage to Melbourne with 12–15-year-olds and will return 10 June with kids from Victoria.
- 20/21 May - NRM – Behind Closed Doors Café – thank you to all who volunteered, and we made just short of $1000.
- 5 June – Bunnings BBQ, please update folder
- Refer folder for Carousel updates till September, Tennyson Dunes and NRM
- July – 4 day family Fun Fair with Bub super train photo cut out to attract more people to come down to cafe cart end.
- Placed Rotary wheel at NRM
YOUTH: (Robyn)
- Robyn to send email to parents advising date for International Youth Exchange student interviews - to take place prior to the meeting and 6 interviewees required.
FUNDRAISING: (Gary – apology)
- 5 June Bunnings BBQ
VOCATION & ENVIRONMENT: (Alison)
- 8 July - Team building day at De Garis’ to paint Eyre Bee n Bee hotels. Bring hammer, small nails and sandpaper. BYO drinks and BBQ will be provided.
- 15 July Monarto Zoo fence painting –invited Murray Bridge and Mobilong. Sandra from Mobilong has agreed to assist.
- Blanket drive – Greyhound Association and Mallee Cats, Mildura very interested and Yvonne has agreed to drive to Renmark to handover.

- 20 June – David Spehrs, Leader of the Opposition – how Rotary can use their influence to gain money from the Government.

OTHER BUSINESS
- Kids on the Lake committee meeting tonight after this meeting Council on board with funding of $7000 for another 3 years.
- August 28 – RYDA more information to come and will be in the folder by next week.
- Brian Thomas attended Ryda conference last Friday and Saturday where a Victorian organizer discussed programs to train the facilitators.
