We have been allocated Sat 23 March as well
Might have to think about working with other groups so we can provide a full team?
Bub's birthday at the NRM is set for 21 April. This will be one of only two events at the NRM for us this year.

VOCATION & ENVIRONMENT - Alison

Frederick Miller Community Garden (FMCG)
Tracey has created a draft of the Open Day flyer for April 21^st
This will be finalised tonight, ready for publication & letter dropping in the area surrounding the community garden in Semaphore Park.
Friends of Rotary have been contacted to ask for additional assistance in building stuff
Alison will contact Stuart Ghent as Charles Sturt Council Member for the area to see if financial assistance is available to help with the costs for the Open Day – maybe we can make the BBQ a free event for everyone, not just the volunteers on the day.
Watchhouse Wardrobe phase 2:
Alison visited the Port Adelaide Police Station on Friday 2^nd Feb to drop of 2 boxes of clothes for the Watchhouse Wardrobe project.
Thanks to the members who donated clothing & funds for shopping
Please continue to gather up unwanted clothing from family & friends so we can have another sorting day and continue our community support
St Bede’s have been approached for clothing that we may be able to re-purpose for this project – more to come.
Blanket Revolution:
The date for sorting & rolling blankets will need to be moved to 20^th Feb as Alison now has work commitments on 13^thFeb.
All those available to help please come to the club meeting at 5:30pm – won’t take long if we can get members to help out.

Saturday 24 February.
Planning is well under way for our club to cater
RCWL will provide:
- lunch at 1230 (assemble your own) and,
in the evening at 17:00,
- a BBQ Dinner with a varied menu carefully chosen by our in house Gourmet Gary West.
There will be a Talent show after the BBQ, with entry fee. Attached Flyer for further information.
We can still use some more helpers for the Afternoon BBQ

RC Charles Sturt Grange

On Monday 19^th February, RC Charles Sturt Grange has a guest speaker attending from the Stroke Foundation.

An invitation has been extended to our club to attend their meeting on that evening. Can you please mark in the folder whether you are interested in attending.
