District Governor Craig Dowling took time from his busy schedule to visit our Club on 5 September.
Craig loved the enthusiasm of our Club and also commented that we seemed like a Club that liked to have fun.
He noted that volunteering is so much easier when you have fun implementing the projects and activities.
He was pleased that our materials reflect his key aims:
- No to Domestic Violence
- Peace Poles (part of RI President Gordon's push)
- End Polio
Kiki was disappointed not to be able to attend and promote her Partner Project on improving Indigenous Health.
Craig also encouraged members to attend the District Conference in Loxton (his home town) in March next year.
