Goodbye, Samuele Tua!
Samuele Tua and Abby O’Brien shared their Rotary Youth Exchange reflections. Samuele is heading home to Italy this week after nearly 11 months in Australia.
He spoke warmly of his time here - friendly locals, curious conversations, "sleeping kangaroos," learning to surf, and swimming with whale sharks in Coral Bay.
Abby learnt a lot of Italian while she was in Italy and can highly recommend the Exchange program.
Our club gifted Samuele a black Akubra as a farewell gesture.
It’s been a joy getting to know both Samuele and Abby - true ambassadors for the Rotary Youth Exchange program.
