On Saturday night Ros and Andrew were guests at the Semaphore Surf life Saving Club (SSLSC) for their annual awards.
It was a fun night with all athletes in the Club being recognised for their dedication and activities.
Additionally there were awards for significant engagement within the Club, particularly notable:
- Steve Weir, 30 yr Service Award
- Brad Tunbridge, 1,000 Patrol hours & National Medal for 15 yrs of continuous service
- Albert & Fergus Charlton and Piper Russell, Youth Club Athletes
- Amelia Tunney, Senior Club Athlete
- Thao Birrell & Olive Charlton, Club Champion Award
- Craig Andrews, Allison Bampton, Andrew Edwards & Megan Tunney, Club Life Members
Of course, RCWL were there mainly to celebrate the Brian Page and Max Christie Awards
- Mick Jarvis, Brian Page Award
- Chelsea Daughtry, Max Christie Award (unfortunately unable to attend, in Brisbane)
